New Blog Template

Greetings, y'all.

I just uploaded an update of Charles's simpleBlog template to to  http://templates.fogcreek.com/

It includes graphic banners, rss feed,  more styles in the .css file. More details in the Release Notes article.

BTW, I'd appreciate it if someone knowledgeable would look over the RSS feed template and article. After being confused by the research I did, I used Henrik's instructions to create the feed.

I'm wondering if there are tricks and additions that have cropped up since Henrik wrote his article.

The [center] tag is making the index page look like a wedding invitation.  Was that intentional?

No. I prefer pages centered.  And the various colors are to indicate where things are.

Change the colors in the variables. Get rid of the <center> in the templates.

I'm still getting 404s for this URL.

Yeah, that's because the URL has a space at the end. Try this:

This RSS works on my site. Userland validates it ( http://aggregator.userland.com/validator?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.marktaw.com%2Frss.xml ).

Tweak the obvious bits & the condition as needed.
