Upgrade to contributor edition ?

We use Citydesk for our intranet and currently have 2 professional and 20 home licences. The home versions are used by contributors to add content but they aren't supposed to use any of the Designer mode options. Obviously we'd prefer to give them the Contributor version rather than Professional but this doesn't seem to be an option?

How about it Joel, could we upgrade the Home versions to contributor? If not free then perhaps for a reduced licence cost.

Sound like you just missed out on the upgrade opportunity... try begging Joel to get it. Or maybe you're still eligible for it... do all 1.x home editions upgrade to pro editions?

BTW, it sounds like you're not using the home licenses properly. The home editions aren't supposed to be used as multiple access points to one database... Joel can correct me if I'm wrong, maybe it's just the simultaneous access thing, and your way is OK.

ALL 1.0 licenses are upgraded to the professional edition (automatically).

Send us an email at customer-service and we'll figure out how to get you what you need.
