2.0.17: Problem editing with GVIM

I use VIM for windows for editing many HTML/CSS files.
I dont know whether it is me. But If i use VIM to edit some file like a CSS or an HTML file, the changes never appear when i reopen it in another editor. Strangely, if i Use notetab for editing the same file the changes stay.

What might I be doing wrong?

Unless you're a *nix guy for whom VI is second nature, my opinion is that there are a ton of better choices for text editing in a windows environment.  (Ultra Edit is fantastic and well worth the $20, and there are a few standout freeware choices, like Crimson Editor, as well).

In terms of your Vim problems; I really couldn't guess without seeing for myself.  It could be something as simple as you not saving properly in Vim (does the windows version have a gui?  If not, are you switching to the proper mode before saving, etc). Does windows VI save text files in DOS format, or in UNIX?  If they're in UNIX, they may not be read properly by some windows apps.
