Multi-level menus

Hi All

I'm trying to work out how to duplicate the following behaviour that I have in my current template based setup (Python based):

I have a single (global) structure which outlines how I want Menus and a Crumb trail defined. The menu hierarchy and crumb trails are then automatically built depending on the name of the file.

E.g. (with <> enclosing hyperlinks)

Index.html
Crumb: Home
Menu:
<PageA>
<PageB>
<PageC>

If the user clicks on menu link <PageA>, they see

PageA.html
Crumb: <Home> | PageA
Menu:
PageA
  <PageA.1>
  <PageA.2>
<PageB>
<PageC>

Thus PageA in the menu is no longer a link, and there are sub menus.

If the user clicks on <PageA.1> they might get:

PageA.1.html
Crumb: <Home> | <PageA> | PageA.1
Menu:
<PageA>
  PageA.1
    <PageA.1.1>
    <PageA.1.2>
    <PageA.1.3>
  <PageA.2>
<PageB>
<PageC>

Hope that's all clear.

So is there a way to auto generate that?

I found the thread by Martha on changing style of current page menu link, but haven't worked out how to add the rest.

TIA
Robert
