CD 2.0.7 Bug In Headline and Author fields

If I create a new article, put a bit of text in the normal view and then "save and exit", then re-open the article, I note that there is an extra blank inserted at the end of the Headline and Author fields. It turns out that this extra character is a line break and appears when I publish. Is this by design? I note that previous beta versions didn't do this.

Oh, apart from that it looks excellent by the way! Who'd have thought that creating xhtml with CityDesk would be so easy...

It's a bug. It shouldn't matter in most cases because the extra whitespace will be ignored in HTML in most cases, but it's definitely a bug. Thanks!

I'm putting fields into quotes and getting:

'song title '

and

"lyrics go here. "

Please note the silly looking extra spaces.  Each time I edit them out, they come back.
