<PRE> content mangling, workaround?

I'm afraid I know what the reply to this is.  I post a lot of code related articles on my website, or try to.  Unfortunately anytime I use the <PRE></PRE> set of tags it seems CityDesk mangles the text.

(CityDesk 2.0.5, website:  http://www.schkerke.com)

It's not that it mangles the text and tries to make it HTML.  It will take..

    Sample = Object.Method( Argument );
    if( Sample == true )

and transform it into

    Sample = Object.Method(
Argument );  if(

Sample

== true )

I'm hoping it's a CityDesk issue and not the DHTML editor.  Right now I'm using pasting HTML versions of my code but that makes it difficult for others to copy and paste my code into their compiler since IE will attempt to copy the HTML along with the code.

Any ideas?

I think the next beta will fix this.

Thanks Joel.

By the way, it's Sunday.  Day off and all that.  You aren't supposed to be working. ;)
