Unable to open articles without CD crashing.

Hi,

I'm unable to use CD now as it crashes every time that I open an article for editing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm running v2.05 pro on Windows XP Home and I think that this first started happening after windows did one of its 'auto upgrades'

Thanks for any help

What are the error messages? Any. Could be that the auto upgrade messes up your activex or jet engine stuff.

Thanks for your reply John,  I never noted the exact error messages (couldn't cut & paste) but seem to remember they were "out of memory" and "unable to initialize [some] control".

The fault reports were sent off to Fog Creek.

I've just uninstalled XP service pack 1a and all is well again, so I'll leave it as it for the moment & maybe try re-installing when the final v2 is finished.

Thanks :-)

My guess is it's the DHTML Edit control that's used for the WYSIWYG HTML editor.
