lost my .cty file!

Is there a way to recreate the .cty file that I stupidly erased??  I have the website with .xml file, etc on it, but the .cty file is GONE.  Ugh.  Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks.

Unfortuntaly... no. If it's nowhere in your recycle bin, it's lost.

Maybe there are some advanced windows tricks you can use to get it back, but if you can't get the file back, you can't rebuild the site easily... That happened to me once and I had to copy/paste all my articles into a new .cty file.

Ever since then I've been using 12back to keep backups for me - http://www.12ghosts.com

If you use the printfriendly method to create text based bodies it would be easier to rebuild your DB.

Either way, the scripts that created his page are gone... Many of my old dynamic links are now static, the magic names had to be re-inserted... It was a mess.

The v2 release will backup automatically.  2.05 seems stable to me.  The backup feature is painless to use -- it backs up every time you exit cd if you like.
