Breadcrumbs

Hi,
how can I create breadcrumbs in my template that generate the parent folder names? For example;

Test site > Articles > Sports >

- thanks.

Don't worry. I found the other thread. Sorry about that. - Ian

Could you please post a title or a text string that identifies it? Searching the page doesn't turn up anything other than your post.

Thanks.                  ...edN

There are three links to Javascript navigation on TK's index page at
http://tk-jk.net/city/Articles/fog0000000010.html.

It's pretty straight forward.  One thing to note with these implementations is that you HAVE to have an index page in each folder.

bad link.  try clicking the one over on the left side of this page.  Then use Terry's search box

This BBS could use a little tweaking to its URL parsing routine.  The link was bad because the period at the end of the sentence was included as part of the link.

Here it is again outside of a sentence:

Also, check out this thread:

The link was bad because the period at the end of the sentence was included as part of the link.

URL's legitimately have periods in them. Micosoft is even putting paranthasis in them.

Example here: (see top)

http://www.atozed.com/intraweb/Education/Training/index.iwp

We did this initially with Javascript and some "hacking" into CD. Other parts of the site still use this method.

This page however now uses IntraWeb which integrates into CD. The breadcrumbs are still managed within CD, but IntraWeb generates the output instead of using JS.

Thanks. We put a lot of effort into it - and much more is still in progress....
