default.htm instead of index.html?

Is there a way to change the default index.html page to default.htm?  That's what my provider requires, and I don't have a way to change it....

I looked in the help file, but did not find a way, although I may have missed it.

Thanks.

Why not create an article named "default" and make sure your template gives you files with a .htm extentin instead of a .html extention?

Just make it a duplicate of the "index" article so if they ever switch over, you'll be covered.

well, I don't really want to change the extension, just the default index page from index to default .  I'm realy new to City Desk (I've had it up and running for about half an hour now), so if my question seems elementary, I apologize in advance.

Not a problem. I just suggest you re-name "index" 'default" and it should work.

You can also copy it, but then you have to remember to make changes to both index & default.

I figured it out.  Thanks for your help.
