Image Inserted in Extra1

Hi,

I tried to make a catalog using a similar methodology as the "Employee Directory" example.

I was hoping I could insert my images right into the article, in the extra1 slot, for example, then use CityScript to pull the image right out of the database.

But, it seems you are not allowed to paste image blobs into articles.

Is this true?

Is this a good thing?

Thanks.

You can insert images into an extra field.  I do it all the time. You can also copy and paste an image from an article into and extra field.  What you can't do is right-click-copy an image from somewhere else and paste it into CityDesk.

Just click the little image icon when you cursor is in the Extra1 field.

You could also store your image in a separate "Image" directory and place the image file name, e.g. "Image.jpg" into the Extra1 field - and then use CityScript to insert the Image at the right place.

This is the way I did it on my CityDesk environment...
