Pictures in the background?

I can't find a way to but a background picture in. I specifically want to have diferent buttons and/or hot-spots on several pictures. A nice feature I have seen is if text changes when the mouse moves over a hot spot w/ out having to go to a new page. Specifically like

I am trying to recreate this site in an easier to manage format and CityDesk has a great rep, but I can't seem to get out of the newspaper type formats. I have just started to fiddle w/ the free download, but will eventually buy some program for regular site mx.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thnx

CityDesk is great at content management.

What you're looking for is a mixture of DHTML and JavaScript.

Sort of like calling a plumber to help you pick out your shower curtains.

I couldn't begin to tell you how to do whatever MarkTaw said.  But CityDesk makes to pretty easy to work with more powerful web design tools.  I think many folks use Dreamweaver.

Presuming you have a few pages / templates that need the hot spot stuff, you can use "Edit with" to open templates and HTML files in an editor that does hot spots.

It might be better to build the site without the hot stuff to get your management thing going. Then add in the hot spot things.
