*.ldb file created and *.cty file won't open

In opening a City Desk file with not enough temp space on the drive to handle it, the City Desk program froze and I had to reboot. Running XP and tried killing it first but it would not die.

Now an ldb file has been created with 1K and the .cty file won't open. Says its corrupt. I have tried reinstalling Jet driver but did not fix the problem.

Please help!

The .ldb file shouldn't matter.

You could try running Access and seeing if it could open (repair) the .cty file...

The ldb is just a temporary file to tell Access that that particular DB is opened. You should be able to delete that file. That may be why the file won't open because Access is fooled by the crash.
