New Feature Requests - What Happens?

Should there be a new forum specifically for CityDesk feature requests? Are FogCreek making note of requests that are mentioned here? There are lots of good ideas coming out and I'd hate for them to get buried!

The fog folks talk about the "how' here:

There are a few tantilizing hints in this forum. From here: http://discuss.fogcreek.com/joelonsoftware/default.asp?cmd=show&ixPost=17674&ixReplies=10

"Much as I hate to talk about unimplemented features :/

We're thinking of using JavaScript, not VBScript, for two reasons:
* same language as most people use for client-side scripts
* there are at least two free implementations I know of, so we can choose the less-buggy one at any given time."

Joel has written a great deal about the practice of pre-announcing new features.  In general Fog doesn't believe that it's a good practice: You can't always deliver on the promisesa of features and release dates.  It reveals trade secrets. It causes folks to postpone purchases.  (I'm paraphrasing and over simplifying I'm sure.)

We'll find out when they are ready (soon I hope):
"Sneak preview: New in FogBUGZ 3.0. We're still on schedule to ship the new version on November 4th. And no, we didn't get rid of the cute orangutan."

Don't worry, they don't get lost, they are all captured in our own FogBUGZ database.
