Solution: CityDesk can't open a file -its corrupt.

Well, at least, one possible solution...
Most of the time this happens because we ask the OS to open the database and it tells us it can't.  Normally this is because the files that the OS uses to open the database are installed incorrectly or in some funny format.  This SHOULD be fixed by reinstalling but doesn't always work.

The best way to combat this is to reinstall Jet from microsoft here:

http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_Jet4SP3.htm

That worked like a charm for an XP user who was having problems.
