Incorporate one CD site into another.

How does one incorporate one CityDesk site into another? Without rewriting the whole thing from scratch, that is. Uploading to a subfolder is not good enough.

I have had this question up in the forum before without getting a real useful answer. Perhaps some of you clever folks have learned some new tricks since I asked last ;)

Can you be a bit more specific about what you mean by "incorporating one site into another?"

Do you mean -- permanently join two CityDesk files into one?

Yes, I mean permanently melt two sites into one new site so that I can benefit from the very user friendly 'linking system' that CD has. I have three CD sites (one of them large) living in subfolders in an old html-written site and I am trying to make two of  these sites into one new independent site.

It would be nice to know if someone at Fog Creek was thinking about this problem or ...
If not, I'll start joining the sites the hard way.
Thanks.

You can cut and paste entire folders at a time. That's a start...

You are right Joel, it's a start. I guess it can't be done more complete than that. It leaves a few things to be sorted out though. CD is a great time saver anyway. Thanks.
