Upgrading to beta 2 triggered Windows Files Protec

At the end of Setup, after pressing the button to close the installer I got the Windows File Protection "Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognised versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files." message.

Am running Windows 2000 (build 2195) without any service packs on this machine.

Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to find out what files it was actually complaining about so this probably isn't much help.

Thanks for the bug report -  that should be fixed in beta 3.

(You can look in your Event Log to see which files were the problem. It was probably mswstr10, mswdat10, and/or scrrun.dll)

Technically, it's completely harmless, but to be Good Citizens we're not supposed to try to update versions of DLLs that ship with Windows.

Yep, checked the event log and it was the 3 DLLs that you mentioned.
