Feature request: publish script

I would like if Citydesk could call an external application (e.g. perl with a script, or excel with a macro)
- before publish (nice for changing variables etc.)
- after placing the files in a temp directory (for my perl scripts;-)

The last option would be my favorite. Then I can replace my javascript navigation with something more fancy.

I could have special comments in the html template
(like <!--$menu {$.abslink}$.{$.headline$}--> )
and some foreach list of html files for my perl scripts.

This would be a very simple feature to implement and very powerful!

You can configure any external application as a "browser" and run it with one click after publishing.

I won't be able to use Citydesk as an intelligent FTP tool then... Although the ftp client of CItydesk can be improved for robustness, I like it's intelligent updates.

Hmm. This lets me select things, but doesn't let me pass in additional arguments (e.g. a CVS commit).

If there were built-in CVS/versioning support...  any comments?
