Stability of `fog00000n.htm' refs

When pointing to pages on a CityDesk site, the references end up to being to a CityDesk stylized name such as `fog0000004.htm' or some such. Are these names reasonably `permanent'? I'd hate to have some sublte change in the site end up rendering the links `dead'.

They are permanent as long as the article exists.  If you delete the article and try to create it again, it will not have the same name.  If you move the article to a different folder it will still have its same name, but now its url will be changed (which isn't a citydesk feature - its just the way url's work http://www/folderA/index.html is not the same url as http://www/folderB/index.html)
