CSS throughout my site

Hi folks,  I have just been working on my nice new site, in XHTML with a separate CSS.
Now my problem is that I can't get my css to show on all pages.

eg.
index.html
|
-articles
---articleone.html
---articletwo.html
|
-stylesheets
---bluestyle.css

i can get the stylesheet to display fine with index.html, but not at all with articleone or articletwo.

is there a way of doing this without having to place my css in my template?

Create your style sheet as an external style sheet i.e. a .css file. Then link to the style sheet in your article template but refer to it by its magic name.
