New Citydesk site

Hey guys..I've been playing around with CD for about two weeks now and really love it for my small to medium size projects. I am just starting to feel comfortable enough with it to do some professional work with it (will need to purchase it soon!)

But I did this "dummy" site - layout, etc. no real content yet. Need to move it to it's real server location later in the week - but just wanted to get some feedback on it:

let me know what you think..
Thanks!

Brian,  that's a very nice looking template!!
A couple of minor comments..
You ought to have a meta Content header like so...
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
CityDesk outputs utf-8 without the Content type you're leaving the browser to guess.  It needs to be the first thing in the document head. Apologies if I'm explaining stuff you already know.
You may also want a doctype  declaration
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Thanks Ken - I overlooked that! I was too busy working on the templates/layouts and some of the other scripting. It's amazing some of the basics you forget...

Just a short reaction: one of the most elegant designs I have seen in the CityDesk world, light footed and yet very functional.

Ruud - wow. Thank you. I was just trying to keep it simple and clean looking. I still need to make the navigation a little more deeper/clearer and maybe add an rss feed to it (it's a blog design for a client). Thanks for the feedback everyone...

Your JaveScript date routine returns the wrong year.  It shows 104.  I think you need to add 1900 to it.

Wow. I hope I can do something like this someday.
