CityDesk will not start

I have a strange problem, running Windows XP CityDesk has been fine. Today it never starts although I can see it in the process list. I just don't get a window.

The only thing I have done which may have affected it was to install SP5 for Visual Studio.

I have tried reinstalling to no avail.

Any ideas?

Let me try to repro here and I'll get back to you...

Ok, I couldn't repro on XPHome with DevStudio SP5.

This is probably a dumb question, but have you tried restarting?  Also, deleting this key from your registry...

Its working again now. I had rebooted, reinstalled etc. Eventually it just popped up about 15 minutes after starting it. Seems OK again now.

Eeek.  Weird.  Sorry about that...

When you saw the process in the taskmgr did you notice if it was utilizing 100% cpu or anything strange like that?

No activity in task manager at all.
