Categories?

I wanna do a category feature on my site.

Now, I figured out the best way to do it, which would be to use one of the unusued fields, and make it a category field, then in the category archive, list only articles with that category in the field.

My question is would it be possible to seperate categories by say using a semi-colon, and have CityDesk realize it's a seperate word, or maybe display if it if contains that particular word.

Hi Brian, this technique has worked well for me:

An advantage of this technique is that you don't burn an extra field for "category," and you can string together as many categories as applicable in the keywords field.

Brian,

I use keywords for my categories as well.  It is the most flexible way in CD because an article can exist in multiple categories by having multiple keywords.
