html_dbscript site

I'm changing my site to html_dbscript version 1.5, so that I can store my content in an Access mdb, and so I can create html file dynamically.

There are errors to correct, but if you're curious, check out http://www.beitrayim.org.

Articles, bulletins, events, contacts, recipes are now in an Access mdb. These are not CD articles.

Thanks to Lou :-)

Bob re: html_dbscript version 1.5?

I see version 1.0 on lou's site ... so you've got an adavnced copy to play with until the bugs are worked out :-)

David,

You are correct!

* version 1.0 lets you query external db in CD

* version 1.5 has a MAKEPAGE command to (get this!) dynamically create html pages (not CD articles).

Lou is still working on getting MAKEPAGE to include CD templates, which is why all my MAKEPAGE'd pages have are naked! I'm beta-testing.

I wanted to let y'all know to see what it dynamically created pages look like with external db, and to invite comments.
