Atom API

Hi guys, just some quick questions:

Is there any date as to when the new version of CD will be released?

Will it support the Atom API from blogger?
(I need a half-decent app to edit my blog and also to maintain a local copy of the posts)

You should be able to use City Desk to create any text file.

For atom, get a copy of the latest spec, and find the sample file.  You'll need to edit the file to include the static information about your site. Then create a loop that pull out the most recent 15 or so articles and writes them out in atom format.

There's an example in the knowledgebase that shows how to do this with an rss feed:

An atom feed would work the same - just change the static parts to match the atom format.

Is there anyone who's already done this and will post it, so each user doesn't have to learn ATOM?

(Similar information for RSS 2.0 is, for instance, available for cutting and pasting.)
