IE "Edit with" works on some pages, not others?

I can't open some of my home pages using the "Edit with" IE button, but I can open other pages in the same site. For example:

With I try to edit this page: http://tk-jk.net/GTsoccer/ CityDesk says, "Can't be used to open "" files

But when I do the same with this page: http://tk-jk.net/GTsoccer/blog/general/About.html City Desk works just fine.

Do you mean http://tk-jk.net/GTsoccer/index.html
http://tk-jk.net/GTsoccer/ is the name of a directory and not of a html page.

Aha, I get it. It opens fine as ... index.html

Not a particularly helpful error message though.

I guess 'Can't be used to open "" files'

means, i can't open something that isn't there.

They could have used a different error message

Of course the page is there on the screen plain as day. When I type in url.com, I get a web page. There is no "index.html" in the address bar. If I view source on the page, the Fog code is in the HTML. But, I guess it's not there for whatever passes the URL from the IE edit-with button to CityDesk and that CityDesk can't get a look at the HTML to find it.

I can the "edit with" the page without "index.html" with Notepad, FrontPage, Netscape, MS Word, and Photodraw but not CityDesk.
