CD as the client side of a CMS?

I haven't used CD in a while, but am back at testing CMS solutions... and still can't believe anyone came up with a good and light WYSIWYG client app to manage contents on a CMS server.

The closest I found are blogger apps like wBloggar (http://wbloggar.com/), and Blog and Blogman (http://www.farook.org/Downloads.htm).

Considering that quite a few CMS solutions like Drupal or Zope are accessible through XMLRPC or SOAP, it'd be pretty cool if users could contribute using CD as the client instead of the pathetic browser-based HTML widgets like htmlArea (browser-specific, slow, won't let you save a temp copy in case the browser crashes, not as confortable to use as a dedicated app).

How hard would it be to add "Publish to CMS" in the list of outputs? :-)
