index.htm or index.html

Ok, I am trying to convert a small website into a City Desk one, but no matter WHAT I do to the index file (HTML edits, etc.) nothing changes in preview.  After looking over the published index.htm file, it is nothing like what mine in CD looks like.

I have tried deleting the index article and manually adding an index.htm file, importing, manually changing... nothing works to change the darn index!  It still shows the starter index file when it publishes!  Argh!

I've looked all over and I can't find this addressed anywhere.  All I want is to modify the existing index.htm file to include my personal webpage html.  I remember I did this just fine in CD 1.0 last time I was checking out CD, but this time...ARGH!

Thanks for any help in advance.

I have the starter edition if it matters.

For now, when you click the "Preview with" button, CityDesk will show you the index.html file. You can't change that. Your index.htm file is "there" though. Delete the "l" in the address window and you should be able to see it.
