Change current page

I'm building a menu bar thus:

{$foreach x in (folder "TopLevel")$}
<a href="{$x.link$}">{$x.headline$}</a>&nbsp;|{$next$}

How can I get it to display the current page in a different color/background color?

You can do it with css. The technique that seems most suited to CityDesk is to add a class declaration to the body element and highlight the current page based on that. One tutorial on this technique can be found here http://www.myrtledene.co.uk/tut.html

I use it on the Cornell Folk Song Club web site at http://www.rso.cornell.edu/folksong. I use the filename as the class.
