<a> tag annoyance
When highligting text for a link, the cursor tends to include the space after the last character. This means you've got to go into HTML view to delete the space before the </a> tag and insert a space after it. A minor annoyance.
With 2.0, I've noticed that unless I save the article in the HTML view, the space after the </a> tag gets stripped. A less than minor annoyance.
Anyone else experiencing this?
A solution would be, either by default or by user choice, to turn off the highlighting of the entire word; this is a standard option in MS Word, for instance.

Yup, that highlighting algorithm is a big nuisance in the Microsoft edit control. One trick is to highlight from right-to-left instead of from left-to-right - then you won't get that trailing space in the first place.

That only works sometimes.
There are two issues here for Fogcreek to address:
1. The highlighting of text
2. The problems with saving in Normal view. This includes the problems of copying text into the Normal view and having to switch to HTML view in order to save it all.
